Description

The Casio FX-991ES Plus 2nd Edition scientific calculator is an advanced model designed for students and professionals in mathematics, physics, and engineering. Part of the ES PLUS 2nd Editionseries, it offers an optimized learning experience thanks to a simple and intuitive interface. Its Natural Textbook Display allows equations and results to be viewed exactly as they appear in textbooks, facilitating understanding and verification of calculations. Equipped with a FULL DOT screen with a clear matrix display (15 characters + 10 per line), it ensures excellent readability.

This calculator integrates 417 functions covering a wide range of fields: basic calculations, scientific calculations, algebra, statistics, matrices, and vectors. Its main functions include fraction calculations, percentages, degrees/minutes/seconds, powers, roots, logarithms, exponentials, as well as trigonometric and hyperbolic functions. It also supports equation calculations, integrals and derivatives, matrix and vector operations, complex number calculations, and base-n calculations. The CALC and SOLVE functions allow quick equation solving, while random integer generation, combinations, and permutations complete its capabilities.

In terms of statistics and data analysis, it features a list-based STAT data editor, a regression analysis function, and standard deviation calculation, as well as a TABLE function for generating value tables. Its high-performance memory includes 9 variables, independent memory (M / M+ / M-), and a data protection and reset function. It also includes 40 scientific constants and 40 metric conversions (20 pairs), useful for physical and chemical calculations.

Technically, the FX-991ES Plus 2nd Edition is powered by both solar energy and a battery (estimated 3-year lifespan) with automatic shutdown to save energy. Non-programmable and non-graphical, it is allowed for most exams. Its digital display offers several formats: Fixed, Scientific (SCI), Normal , and Engineering Notation.
